Trouble germinating small seeds?

Having trouble germinating your small seeds when planting directly in your mulch? Here’s the solution! Part the mulch to expose the compost or soil below. Lay down a strip of toilet paper. Sprinkle it with soil to hold it in place. Place the seeds on the toilet paper and cover the seeds with soil. Water daily until the seeds have germinated. Simple! The paper prevents the small seeds from falling down too deep into the mulch and allows the seeds to germinate easily.
